Using TalestoKeep.com
Terms & Conditions
Conditions describing your responsibilities and the current boundaries of archive, sharing, and purchase features.
Last updated October 12, 2026
Effective October 12, 2026. These Terms apply to your use of TalestoKeep.com. Please read them before creating an account, using the service, or making a purchase.
Operator, contact, and governing law
TalestoKeep.com is operated by Curry Walter, doing business as TalesToKeep. Our mailing address is 51708 Kenai Spur Hwy, Nikiski, AK 99635, United States. For questions or notices about these Terms, email talestokeep@gmail.com.
Paid services are offered only where checkout accepts the purchase, and printing is subject to the destination options shown by the print provider. Alaska law governs these Terms, except that mandatory consumer-protection and privacy rights in your place of residence continue to apply.
Using the service and your account
By accessing or using the service after these Terms are made available to you, you agree to them. You are responsible for the information you submit, the actions you authorize, and keeping your credentials and devices secure.
Account, AI, voice, payment, and printing features depend on configured providers, permissions, internet access, and supported browsers. A visible feature does not guarantee that its provider is available or that production purchases are enabled.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of your content. The permission needed to provide the features you choose is limited to storing, processing, syncing, backing up, exporting, and sharing that content, and transmitting relevant information to a provider or printer when you invoke the corresponding action.
Only submit material you have the right to use. Obtain appropriate permissions for photographs, stories, and information about others, and respect privacy, copyright, and other third-party rights when creating an edition or choosing recipients.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate the law, another person’s privacy, or intellectual-property rights; impersonate someone; upload malware or content you have no right to use; bypass access controls; probe other accounts; overload the service; or interfere with connected providers.
AI, voice, and your review
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. Optional drafting, follow-up, and transcription tools do not establish a verified historical record or provide professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing names, dates, quotations, sensitive details, and other output before relying on it or including it in an export, shared edition, or printed book.
Source transcripts and earlier story versions remain available where the interface indicates. Review these originals when correcting generated material; an automated match to a transcript does not independently verify a memory.
Sharing and suggestions
Sharing applies to the fixed edition you select and review, subject to invitation and recipient permissions. It does not automatically share your entire archive or update recipients’ editions when you later edit a story. Check the selected prose and photographs before inviting anyone.
Suggestions do not change the working story until the storyteller accepts them, and acceptance does not overwrite the fixed shared edition or original transcript. Keep invitation links private. Revoking access cannot remove copies a recipient has already saved.
Backups and offline use
Keep downloadable archive and media backups in a secure place and check sync status before changing devices or clearing browser storage. Offline changes need a later successful sync to reach an account’s cloud copy. Browser storage can be lost or become unavailable; a page loading offline does not prove that every memory or media file is backed up.
Membership, billing, and credits
Where purchases are enabled, review the displayed price, included benefits, renewal terms, and applicable taxes before checkout. Completing checkout authorizes the displayed charge; an annual membership renews automatically at the then-current displayed price until canceled. Stripe provides hosted payment and billing management. Use Account to review available membership, payment, and credit information and to open provider billing management to cancel.
The current annual membership is $129 per year and renews automatically each year at the then-current displayed price until canceled. Cancel through Manage provider billing in Account before the next renewal to stop the next charge. Access continues through the paid term. An additional hardcover credit is a one-time $69 purchase and does not renew.
A hardcover credit is a tracked purchase benefit, not cash or a submitted print order. Shipping, applicable taxes, and any separately offered premium options are separate from the benefits expressly included in an offer. Do not assume they are included unless the displayed offer says so.
Starting guided book finishing reserves one included hardcover credit after you acknowledge the reservation. You can leave and resume that same session; starting is not permission to create repeated sessions with the same credit. The included AI allowance is limited to 60 total minutes of AI voice and 60 model-assisted saved answers for that session. The credit is consumed only after a confirmed final print submission.
A failed or ambiguous provider state may require support reconciliation. The app may keep the session and credit reserved while it determines whether AI usage, payment, or a printer submission occurred; it does not automatically release the credit or repeat a provider operation.
Cancellation, refunds, and print problems
You may cancel a membership through Manage provider billing in Account. Cancellation stops a future renewal when completed before that renewal; access continues through the paid term. Cancellation does not delete your archive, export access, or unused hardcover credits.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise or a charge must be corrected, purchases are final. We do not offer discretionary refunds or prorated refunds for a paid membership term, an unused or reserved hardcover credit, unused features or allowances, or a change of mind. See the Refund Policy for details.
A custom book may not be canceled or changed after it is submitted to the printer or production begins. A delivered book reported as damaged, defective, or incorrect will be reviewed for a replacement. No discretionary refund is promised; mandatory remedies for any damaged, defective, incorrect, late, or undelivered order remain available under applicable law.
Preparing and ordering a printed book
Printing depends on supported products and destinations, validated printer files, review and approval of the exact proof, a current shipping quote, accurate delivery details, an available hardcover credit, verified payment, and your separate final order confirmation. Lulu’s product, file, shipping, and fulfillment requirements also apply to the requested workflow.
Payment does not by itself submit a print order. Review the funded quote and complete the explicit submission step. Shipping, applicable taxes, and any premium options must be checked separately before confirming.
You are responsible for reviewing the proof’s content, page layout, margins, and photo quality. A screen or downloadable proof cannot guarantee an identical physical result; paper, color, trimming, and binding can affect the printed book. Availability, delivery, and provider acceptance are not guaranteed by preparing a proof or paying for a credit.
Service changes and availability
Features and connected providers can change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. Keep independent backups and do not rely on continuous access or error-free output. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that applicable law does not allow us to waive or limit.
Changes and questions
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version here and changing the effective date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a change applies. For questions or legal notices, email talestokeep@gmail.com or write to our mailing address above. The Contact Us page lists these contact details.
Gifts and human finishing assistance
A $129 gift membership is paid once and does not renew automatically. Its 12-month term begins on claim or after existing paid access. Recipients must cancel future recurring renewal before claiming. The buyer shares a private link; a purchase never gives the buyer archive access. Unclaimed gifts do not automatically expire. A 30-day link can be replaced by the buyer. A redeemed gift cannot be transferred to a different account.
Human finishing assistance costs $199 for one 30-minute consultation, up to two hours of editorial/layout assistance, and one revision round for one saved edition. Membership, printing, shipping and taxes are separate. Intake does not charge you; an operator accepts the request and agrees scheduling before payment. No completion date is promised before scheduling. You approve changes and grant only selected-edition access, which you can revoke at any time.
Contact us before payment to withdraw an assistance request, or after payment if delivery, cancellation, a charge, or the service needs review. The existing final-sale policy applies subject to mandatory legal remedies and charge corrections; no service or book purchase removes those remedies. Refunding or disputing a purchase may pause its unclaimed benefits or service while it is reconciled, but never deletes your archive or exports.
